Accurate
  Sherpa Hi Glide Ram Air Parachute Delivery Systems are capable of accurate delivery of heavy payloads from a wide range of altitudes and stand off distances. The Sherpa Control Unit guides the parachute automatically using the Global Positioning System (GPS), or, if required, can home in on a remotely activated UHF beacon placed at the target site.  Sherpa can also be guided manually by a trained operator on the ground.  These guidance modes may be changed on the fly.

Advanced mission planning software determines your optimal dispatch point and gives the pilot and navigator the proper coordinates for parachute drop. Sherpa also offers delayed

  deployment, operated by a command from the operator or by a timer set prior to dispatch.

Rugged

Sherpa systems are designed for durability in the most rugged conditions.  The Sherpa Control Unit, which operates the parachute control lines via low maintenance, durable electrical servos, can survive multiple hard ground landings without the need of repair. Sherpa systems are capable of operating in all temperatures typically experienced in a drop from high altitude.
